Hello Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by. First of all I just want to thank the Lord for the rain this past month. I don't know about y'all but we were in dire needs of it! So praise the Lord for that. Sam was talking the other day about how we as Christians fail to thank the Lord for the smaller things in life. Most of the time we remember those big things in life, but the smaller things we tend to overlook. You know like topping that hill and passing a state patrol car and then you pray to the Lord he doesn't turn around to come get you. Then you see that he keeps going the opposite direction and all you say is shewwww, with a sigh of relief. Never thanking the Lord for that small prayer. I don't know about you, but that's me! So my focus is to thank the Lord for all things good and bad, big and small. Just something to think about.
Well we had a great month filled with awesome services. We were in my home state of MS! We were able to spend some time with my family as well as sing some too. First we were in Laurel, MS with good friend and Pastor Bro. Gary Walters. We had an awesome service. Thanks again to the church family for inviting us to come. Next we were close by in Petal, MS at Vision Baptist. Thanks again Jonathan and Church family for your kind hospitality! Of course we had to take a day and chill out with my family, because I'm now 6 hours away from them. I cherish every moment I have. Those times seem more precious to me now! We ate and talked a lot and just enjoyed our day off. My Grandfather raises cattle so he was in the middle of raking and bailing hay for the winter. I always loved helping him so I raked and he bailed! I love that stuff! Sunday morning we were in AL at Millry Baptist. We always love those Sun morning services there! Thank y'all again. Oh and a special thank you to Mrs. Havard for that awesome lunch. That night we were in Millry again, that's a never, with Pastor Jim Koen. Thank you so much for inviting us to be apart of your church service.
Have I mentioned that I like singing close to home?! That's almost a never for us. So it's great when, especially like this month, we had 3! First we were at Inaha Baptist with good friend and Pastor Brad Hughes. It was his talented son, Brandon Hughes, dedication/ reveal of the songs on his new cd. Great job Brandon, you tore the house down! As you know our great friend Josh Jordan fills in for us with the 3rd part on select dates. Josh could not be there as planned so Nathan Rodgers joined us on stage that night. This was his first time to sing with us. He is 15 and so unbelievably talented. He stepped in at the last minute and did a fantastic job! Nathan's family are long time friends and are members of our home church. Nathan has offered to help us when needed and for that we are thankful. Great job Nate! Then Sun morning we were at 3rd Street Baptist in Cordele. We met so many great new people and got to see old friends we haven't seen in awhile. Thanks to Pastor James Kelly for inviting us to be apart of your service! That night we were in Adel, GA at God's Way Baptist! Thanks to our good friends Pastor Joey and his wife Missy for inviting us to come. Y'all have an awesome ministry and I can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do.
Well that's it for this month. Pray for us, we will be in the studio cutting our next cd. It should be out by mid Dec.
Also our church almost complete! We are moving in soon! I will be putting the final pics up where you can see!
Till next time,
LaBreeska
